I am curious. That is what keeps me going in this profession.  My head spins most days. It is not the easy stuff that makes my day, it is the head scratchers that come my way. In the last few years the strange cases seem to be coming from far and wide, from Canada, Australia, South America, Europe and many distant states in this glorious USA.  It is baffling to me these distances must be traversed by some, but rather than build ever dangerous pride, it makes me sad that people have to come from so far to visit me. It is a sad comment on the state of affairs, but I remain optimistic that through teaching, writing and sharing we can bridge these gaps.
